Catholic Charities' Microbusiness Training and Development program offers a wide range of services tailored to help entrepreneurs and small business owners. We help our clients create and grow their business. NeighborWorks Omaha (NWO) is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation that provides economic and community development services that include affordable quality housing, business development, job creation and retention.

South Omaha Community Care Council
The South Omaha Community Care Council (SOCCC) has active partnerships and networking relationships with over 95 human service organizations, medical facilities, neighborhood associations and private businesses. Our primary focus is on networking events that are held every two months and are attended by as many as 150 citizens, nonprofit employees, and company representatives. These meetings are key resources for many community members for disseminating information and learning about upcoming educational events and programs.

Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) dedicates its energy and resources to providing support to small businesses and small-business owners across the nation. SBA helps businesses across the country through what we call the “3 C’s” of our service: Capital: We work with about 5,000 banks to provide SBA loans to deserving small businesses. Contracts: We work to ensure that 23% of federal contract dollars go to small businesses. Counseling: 14,000 SBA-affiliated counselors are ready when you need small business guidance
Nebraska Business Development Center
Through 25 years of service to the business community in Nebraska and to higher education in Nebraska, the Nebraska Business Development Center has amassed thousands of small victories that together mean a better economy and a better life for all Nebraskans. Beginning with a focus on small businesses through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business Development Center program and expanding through technology training, the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the Procurement Technical Assistance Program, the Pollution Prevention Regional Information Center, Business Training, and other programs, NBDC has touched businesses and communities throughout Nebraska. It has assisted businesses through economic distress and expansion and has enhanced the skills of thousands of people working in those businesses.

Federal Reserve Bank - Omaha
The Omaha office is the oldest of the Kansas City Fed’s three Branches. We opened on September 4, 1917 in the old First National Bank building at 1219 Farnam before moving to 17th and Dodge streets in 1925. In February 1986, we moved to 2201 Farnam Street.
