Empowering Hispanic Businesses in Nebraska Since 2005
Founded in 2005, the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NHCC) began as a grassroots effort to support Latino-owned businesses in South Omaha. What started as a small network has grown into Nebraska’s leading advocate for Hispanic business excellence. Over the years, NHCC has expanded its reach statewide, fostering partnerships with local governments, corporations, and community organizations to empower Hispanic entrepreneurs.
As the Hispanic business community has flourished, NHCC has evolved alongside it, offering critical resources, advocacy, and leadership development to ensure that Hispanic enterprises continue to thrive. Today, NHCC is recognized by business leaders, government officials, and corporations as the definitive voice for Hispanic business interests across the state.

Member Of the Month
Centro Hispano Comunitario de Nebraska, founded in 2009 in Columbus, is our Member of the Month for its unwavering dedication to fostering intentional change for immigrant families, learners, and entrepreneurs across Platte, Colfax, and Madison counties. In 2023 alone, they handled over 400 immigration cases, empowered more than 670 adult learners, supported over 760 entrepreneurs, and raised over $32,000 at their annual gala—achievements that reflect their vibrant, community-rooted programs. We congratulate them on receiving Inclusive Communities’ 2025 Otto Swanson Spirit of Service Partner of the Year Award, an honor that underscores their exemplary commitment to diversity, inclusion, and opportunity.
